PR 35 – Artistic Swimming: Russia and Ukraine share the gold in Budapest (HUN)

The teams of Russia and Ukraine controlled operations in the fifth meet of the 2018 FINA Artistic Swimming World Series, staged in Budapest (HUN) on May 18-20. Out of the eight finals contested in the Magyar capital, four gold medals went to Russian athletes, while the remaining four titles went to Ukraine.

PR 34 - Italy, Brazil, Great Britain and Germany go home with a medal after Seychelles' first Marathon Swim World Series

Italy's Simone Ruffini and Arianna Bridi were the fastest today (Sunday May 20) in the FINA/HOSA Marathon Swim World Series which was taking place in the Seychelles, as the island hosted the second leg of the event for the first time ever.

PR 33 - Learning Platform: Online tool to enhance Aquatics worldwide

FINA is pleased to launch today the FINA Learning Platform, an online tool accessible on computers and mobile devices to the entire Aquatics community, who will be able to share and learn the latest trends and techniques, but also to promote FINA disciplines worldwide.

The main goal of the FINA Learning Platform is to provide a platform to all National Member Federations to educate coaches, officials, and administrators. FINA’s goal by the end of 2020 is to reach more than 10’000 users.

PR 32 - Artistic Swimming: Cerruti (ITA), the star to beat in Samorin (SVK)

Linda Cerruti, from Italy, was the star of the fourth meet of the 2018 FINA Artistic Swimming World Series, held in Samorin (SVK) on May 11-13. The Italian star earned four gold medals, being the best in both the Solo and Duet events. The remaining titles of the competition went to Belarus, Slovakia, Spain and Ukraine.

PR 31 – DGP: China excels in Calgary (CAN)

Athletes from China dominated the second leg of the 2018 FINA Diving Grand Prix, held in Calgary (CAN) from May 10-13, earning seven gold medals out of the 10 events contested in the competition. The only exceptions to the Asian supremacy came from Canada (two titles) and Germany (one triumph).

PR 30 - Canada and Russia stand out at FINA/CNSG DWS 2018 ultimate leg

Divers from Canada and Russia collected one and two gold medals respectively this weekend in Kazan, Russia, the host city of the FINA/CNSG Diving World Series 2018 very last leg, while all other gold up for grabs were pocketed by Team China.

Russia's Aleksandr Bondar and Viktor Minibaev clinched gold in the men's platform synchro event with 432.72. Ukraine's Maksym Dolgov and Oleksandr Gprshkovozov secured silver with 414.09 and Timo Barthel / Florian Fandler of Germany placed third with 345.36.

PR 29 - WPWL 2018: Spain, Russia and the Netherlands off to the Super Final

After six European preliminary rounds played from November 2017 to May 2018, Spain, Russia and the Netherlands secured a berth to the FINA Women's Water Polo World League Super Final, to be held in Kunshan (CHN) from May 28 to June 2, a tournament that gathers the best European teams and the best Asian, American and Oceania teams.

PR 27 - DWS 2018: Canada wins mixed events at home

Canada and Malaysia broke China's dominance this weekend in Montreal, Canada, the host of the penultimate leg of the FINA/CNSG Diving World Series 2018 held from April 27-29.

The home team pocketed gold in the 3m and 10m mixed events. Jennifer Abel and Francois Imbeau-Dulac secured the 3m gold with 325.20, while Meaghan Benfeito and Nathan Zsombor-Murray were the best synchronised pair in the 10m (322.08).

Malaysia's Pandelela Pamg/Jun Hoong Cheong took the women's 10m gold with 322.74 points.

PR 26 - “Time for action” after fruitful gathering in Budapest (HUN)

After three days (April 26-28) of intense discussion and exchange of ideas, the FINA World Water Polo Conference concluded today in Budapest (HUN). The Magyar rendezvous gathered representatives of over 100 National Federations, who had the opportunity to share their vision, experience and proposals for the future development of the oldest team sport in the Olympic programme.
